Employee Development and Training Manager - Surrey/Middx borders

This is a unique opportunity to join the senior management team of a highly successful and fast growing training and client support company, based near London, just off the M3 motorway.

My client provides training solutions for both systems training and computer-based learning, as well as offering a helpline for systems support to it's customers, who are all in the retail and hospitality sectors.

With a current workforce of approximately 100 full-time managers and staff, the company is looking to grow it's business and subsequently increase it's workforce to become the leading company in this market.

The role of Employee Development and Training Manager is very hands on, with the successful applicant getting actively involved in all aspects of the business, from contributing to the training provided to customers, business growth and people development.

The key focus of the HR role will be around effective recruitment solutions, and ongoing retention strategies to support the managers in managing their staffing levels and ongoing development of their teams.

This is an ideal role for a HR professional who wants to be in the thick of the business and is happy to get involved in the whole business, not just the HR and training function. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, a self-starter, enthusiastic and passionate about people development, and as part of the senior management team, be highly flexible and lead by example.
Experience in the hotel or retail industries is essential, and an understanding of IT support systems is desirable. Training experience and an understanding of effective recruitment and retention techniques is also essential.

Competitive salary based on experience - circa 25k - 35k.
