Job Description
To be a member of a team within the department.
To carry out examination and inspection of Building Regulation submissions, plans and site work to ensure building works comply with Building Regulations, including some administrative work. To assist the Principal Building Surveyor with the operation of one of the two main areas of the Borough and to include consultation and liaison with other sections and departments.
To ensure that Building Control work is carried out in accordance with documented procedures, timescales and deadlines.
