Job Description

North London Housing Trust seek a Income Officer to work 35 hours a week.

The purpose of this role is to undertake rent arrears recovery work.
- To work with Housing Benefit Departments to maximise their performance on direct payments made.
- Employ a high standard of customer care and sensitivity in all contacts with both internal and external.

Applicants need to demonstrate and provide evidence of the following :

*Knowledge of Housing Law in debt recovery
*Knowledge of Welfare Benefits system
*Considerable experience of working in social housing or in credit control/debt recovery

Applicants must have a high standard of computer literacy and numeracy.

A clean driving licence and use of a car.
