Excellent Opportunity!!! Busy City Centre Hotel part of renowned and established hotel chain is looking for a ROOM SALES EXECUTIVE to join their team. This reservations role is for an experienced candidate. The hotel is currently undergoing extensive refurbishment which will give you, as Rooms Sales Executive an excellent opportunity to develop and expand your knowledge within the hotel revenue function. As Rooms Sales Executive you will be responsible for the room sales of both individual and group bookers, dealing closely with tour operators and corporate travel agents on a daily basis.
The role will require you to have knowledge of reservations systems and preferably Opera, where you will have responsibility for the management of rates, occupancy levels. City market activity knowledge would also be an advantage. The ideal candidate for this role requires excellent customer service, you will be confident; customer focused; and have first class organisational skills. Your commitment to service, coupled with personality and people skills will be the defining factors.
