Exciting Sous Chef opportunity Sous Chef for Branded restaurant witihin Heathrow Sous Chef 24000 - 26000 per annum Berkeley Scott are recruiting for this prestigious Sous chef position at Heathrow airport, As Sous Chef you will be reporting directly to the Head Chef and ensuring all kitchen duties are carried out to the highest standard. There is a brigade or 16 chefs with 2 Sous Chefs and 1 Head chef. This is a very high volume restaurant that can turn over 1600 covers a day at peak times so you will need to be experienced in managing the team and delivering quality food and service at speed. You will need to be a natural leader with proven experience, leading by example and setting the standards high. The menu changes twice a year but is very diverse and offers fresh produce prepared on-site with a Mediterranean and pre-dominantly french influence. Your duties will be: Supporting the head chef in daily duties Working closely with the sous to ensure team delivers standards Follow company specs Ordering, stock control, recording temperatures Managing and training of team members Ideally we will be looking for a very strong CDP ready for the next step that can prove he is the right candidate or an established sous chef that is looking for a new challenge.
