Job Description
A popular east Sussex coastal Authority is looking for a DC planner to join one of their teams.
You will undertake a caseload of planning and advertisement applications, including the carrying out of consultations, site inspections, negotiations and the preparation of reports and recommendations, ensuring that they are determined within agreed timescales, in accordance with all legal requirements and the council's planning policies.
Assist the senior planners and planners in dealing with plans and details submitted to the council for approval in compliance with conditions imposed on planning permissions. Undertake such other duties appropriate to the grade and character of the work as may reasonably be required.
The successful candidate will be a qualified planner with similar experience in the UK, strong overseas candidates are welcome to apply.
