Job Description
Our client, a leading hotel chain are currently recruiting for an Area Human Resources Manager to manage the HR function for two of their prestigious properties.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of HR, advising and coaching the departmental managers on people management and development to ensure the best productivity from employees. Key responsibilities will include:
* Reducing staff turnover through training and development
* Introducing new systems and procedures where required to assist with the smooth running of the properties
* Managing change where required
* Responsibility for ensuring that all employee personnel files meet statutory and company requirements
* Meeting all health and safety requirements
* Carrying out recruitment drives
* Responsibility for employee relations
* Training and development of all staff including management
* Performance management
* Managing payroll budget
This is an exciting new role for the hotel group and the successful candidate will have a sound all round knowledge of employment law. CIPD would be beneficial, however being qualified through experience within the hotel industry and working towards a professional qualification in HR will suffice for the right candidate. Our client offers a basic salary of 24k plus company pension and benefits.
