General Manager required for busy wine bar operation in the City of London

We are looking for a General Manager to hit the ground running in a city site premises which is part of a well known wine bar company in London. You will report directly to the Operations Director and be responsible for the staff management of this bar and accountable for the operational procedure of the business. Ideally, we are looking for a dedicated and professional manager with proven experience in the hospitality industry. This role will be highly customer focused, and requires effective management and motivation of a diverse team.

Requirements of General Manager in this role:
A proactive approach to growing a business
Genuinely customer focused and engaging personality
Financially astute
Organised and dependable
Training and motivating staff
Excellent stock control
BII qualified and a personal license holder

Salary and Benefits
From £25K - £28K or above for the right candidate, plus clothing allowance and profit share bonus scheme. All bank holidays off, 20 days holiday per year and working around 45 hours a week from Monday to Friday. Weekends off.
