Berkeley Scott are recruiting for this prestigious chef de partie position at Gatwick airport, As Chef de partie you will be reporting directly to the sous and head Chef and ensuring all kitchen duties are carried out to the highest standard. There is a brigade or 16 chefs with 2 Sous Chefs and 1 Head chef.

This is a very high volume restaurant that can turn over 1600 covers a day at peak times so you will need to be experienced in managing the team and delivering quality food and service at speed. You will need to be a natural leader with proven experience, leading by example and setting the standards high.

The menu changes twice a year but is very diverse and offers fresh produce prepared on-site with a Mediterranean and pre-dominantly french influence. Your duties will be: Running your section Working closely with the sous to ensure team delivers standards Follow company specs Producing foos to the highest standard Ideally we will be looking for a very strong commis that can prove he is the right candidate or an established chef de partie that is looking for a new challenge. This role is a great opportunity to work in a high volume restaurant delivering quality produce for a very well respected branded restaurant.
