Four star country house hotel with 70 bedrooms, leisure club, conference and banqueting facilities are seeking a Restaurant Manager for their 2AA rosette 70 cover restaurant. This award winning hotel has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment and is popular locally and from afar, with many guests returning each year. As Restaurant Manager you will be reporting into the Operations Manager and be responsible for a team of 16 staff ensuring they are trained and developed to deliver high standards of guest care. Also you will be accountable for rotas, time sheets, stock ordering and control, restaurant promotional activity and attending management meetings. From a 3 or 4 star hotel or restaurant background you will have managed a 2 AA rosette restaurant as either a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager. A proven stable track record in this area is essential along with a high standard of personal presentation and strong communication skills.
