Job Description
Working within the Housing department you will be responsible for carrying out detailed surveys of properties to assess the feasibility for adaptation schemes requested by the Occupational Therapist. Inspecting properties for fitness, condition and amenities to determine eligibility for home repair assistance grants or other forms of assistance, such as Houseproud.
You will take into account the customers choice and the needs of the property when drawing up a scheme of work.
This is a key role in the authority where you will have a direct impact in improving the lives of customers following the completion of adaptations.
A track record of working on adaptations and disabled grants is essential
