The Employer:
Our clients have been established since 1990 and was one of the first companies in the UK to pioneer the concept of outsourced recruitment. The executive Search division delivers search recruitment based solutions to help existing clients to build and deliver a strategic approach to talent management. Also provides Executive Search integrated into an RPO consultancy.

Job Purpose, Duties & Responsibilities:

Main responsibility is generation of passive candidates. This will be a centralised function aligned to candidate skills and not necessarily client specific.

• Engage candidates and clients (and prospects for both) mostly in telephone conversations. This activity is split into three main areas:
• Recruiting to generate candidates for existing assignments to long list stage (including profiling, notes and phone assessment)
• Marketing candidates to generate business
• Identification and tracking of high potential talent with competitors
• Initially will be generalists but soon will be functionally aligned. The Consultant is required to develop sufficient knowledge of their functions, key players, organisation structures, competitors, products, geographies and products/service in order to present our company credibly to clients and candidates within these markets.
• Ability to present over the phone a business conversation at senior levels both with candidates and clients
• Keeping an accurate and completed record of all activities undertaken, on the Database, according to internal processes.

• Building networks. Keep regular contact with candidates and clients post assignment

Person Specification
• Good standard of education.
• Excellent telephone manner – clear, concise and articulate.
• Experience of telephone sourcing and screening or B2B sales is essential.
• Highly organised and resilient
• High candidate & client focus, lateral thinker, problem solver, able to work independently with chance to use own initiative.
• PC literate – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience of managing multiple assignments to tight deadlines.

Desirable
• Graduate calibre
• Fluency in 2 European languages to include English (preference for German or French)
• Up to date sales and negotiating skills
• Experience of the full recruitment lifecycle gained within the Recruitment/B2B Industry
• Functional recruitment contingency background in a company not working with PSLs, an on-site head-hunter or a Researcher from a search company.

Reports To:
Executive Search Director

8.30am –5.30pm although flexibility required.

Salary/Benefits:
Salary will be circa £32K - £45K with an OTE that is uncapped and could see the successful candidate earn in excess of £70K in their 1st year.
