Room Service Manager - Edinburgh 5 Star £18 000

This well known 5 Star hotel is currently looking for an experienced Room Service Manager.

Role

To organise and run the daily operation of Room Service and Minibar ensuring the highest standards of guest care and service.

To ensure that Room Service orders are taken promptly and accurately and in a courteous and helpful manner.

To ensure that Room Service orders are correctly prepared and promptly delivered to guests in line with the established standards.

To ensure that the floor walks and clearing procedures are followed through.

To ensure that all Room Service charges are accurately recorded and posted to guest bills.

To maintain sufficient Room Service stocks and supplies whilst adhering to the hotel requisition and stock control systems.

To maintain and store Room Service equipment in a safe and secure manner.

To ensure effective food storage and stock rotation.

To ensure that wastage and over-production are kept to a minimum.

Person

You will be key person in the food and beverage team. You will be an experienced person who is looking for a new challenge and an opportunity to work within this famous hotel. You will have great attention to detail, training and motivational qualities. You will work 5 days out of 7 including mornings, evenings and weekends.

Salary

A very competitive salary of £18 000 - £20 000 is on offer as well as excellent benefits and working conditions.
