Maintenance Manager - 4 Star Hotel - Edinburgh - Salary up to £22,000

A great opportunity for an individual to further their career within an international company. This 4 star hotel in Edinburgh is looking for a Maintenance Manager to join their team.

Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be in charge of a small team consisting of a Deputy Maintenance Manager, Handy Person and a Painter and Decorator.

You will be responsible for the contractors and checking that work is carried out effectively, contacting the appropriate personnel as needed and issuing purchase orders.

You will ensure the budget targets are maintained and be able to plan ahead in advance on a continual basis.

You will liaise with housekeeping on a regular basis ensuring Health and Safety is a priority. You will be in charge of recruiting, training and developing your team providing leadership and motivation.

You will have a proven record within the hotel industry working within the maintenance department as a manager or assistant manager. Ideally you will be electrically qualified.

A competitive salary of up to £22,000 is on offer for the successful candidate as well as excellent training and development and benefits.
