Senior Site /Project Engineer. We are currently seeking a Civil Engineer qualified to Degree level for a Civil Engineering contractor who has been established for over 25 years.

A sound contractor, specialising in RC structures and associated works, moving on from the shell and core to turnkey projects to £40m. The company already has work secured for 2007 and 2008 that will see a considerable growth in turnover. With a reputation for pushing jobs forward in their goal to increase their turnover, the company has a progressive approach to construction.

This project is worth about £10 and is phase one of a larger development. We intend to take on Senior Site/Project Engineer, with an engineering background, capable of taking on managerial responsibilities.

This vacancy has arisen through the company winning a series of additional projects ranging from £3.5 to £32m, necessitating additional site based positions for people with extensive groundworks, associated infrastructure works and RC structures experience.

The suitable candidate will have come through the ranks having set out as an Engineer, though on this project there will be 4 site Engineers, be responsible for programming as well as QA / QC and the associated additional management duties included in calling off concrete and rebar, organising daily diaries, RFI’s and a host of relevant duties.

The successful candidate seek should have qualifications to Diploma or Degree status in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. You are likely to have at least 3-5 years engineering experience and be permitted to legally work in the UK.
