Job Description

Project Manager – RC frame. £1.25m phase 2 of a larger scheme. Demolition currently underway. Work includes piling mat, piling, pilecaps, RC Basement and suspended Ground floor slabs, then concrete topping to metal decking on upper floors. Initial programme 18 – 20 weeks.

Immediate requirement for a Civil Engineering Contractor, who works on schemes from £500k to £40m. Continued growth over the last 30 years has established this company at the forefront of the industry. As they move forward they continue to need top flight professionals from Engineering, Commercial and Trades backgrounds keen to share in their growth and continued success.

Qualified to a tertiary level in Civil Engineering or an associated discipline, you will demonstrate evidence of having worked for established contractors on substantial projects with the opportunity to demonstrate your own input. You may currently be working as a number 2 and keen to take on the challenges of leadership. IT literacy is essential.

The Contractor’s core business is construction, across a wide range of processes and disciplines taking on building projects valued at £500,000 upwards. The scope of work includes:
• Residential. Private and affordable housing, being residential only as well as mixed use developments.
• Education. Schools, colleges and community Education facilities.
• Commercial. Retail and Office buildings in both town centre and out of town locations.
• Listed Buildings. Refurbishing and renovating Grade 1 and 2 Listed buildings, including those housing valuable works of art that are open to the public.
• Hotel and Leisure. Major new build projects and redevelopment for international and independent hotel brands.
