Job Description

They have the capacity to provide a full turnkey service to their clients from research and development through to manufacturing, testing and commissioning, installation and maintenance. They have existing contracts on the mainline railway and a major re-signalling contract on the London Underground.

They are currently recruiting for a Health and Safety Advisor, to work from their Birmingham office. You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of Health and Safety and Environment plans, and provide advice and guidance on good Health and Safety and Environment management practice in the department. You will also need to have experience in performing audits and monitoring Health and Safety and Environment management practices, and carrying out investigations into non-compliances to find root causes and to recommend the most effective corrective actions.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience within occupational safety, health and environment preferably gained in a Rail environment, ideally on the London Underground (though not essential) You will also have detailed knowledge of Occupational Safety, Health and Environment legislation and requirements, and be NEBOSH qualified.
