Job Description
Full job description (responsibilities, remit etc)
•Own and manage all external and internal recruitment
•Understand and manage the full recruitment lifecycle with particular emphasis on direct resourcing and direct hiring
•Design and develop appropriate talent databases populated by independent research methods
•Develop and maintain key client contacts both internally and externally and strengthen existing relationships
•Develop knowledge of the marketplace and competitors to maintain an effective recruitment and selection process. Use this knowledge to recommend and assist in developing recruitment strategies and maintain competitiveness in hiring
•Conduct competency based interviews and make recommendations on selection
•Manage the offer process for potential joiners including salary queries, negotiating start date, induction etc
•Demonstrate an understanding of candidate sourcing methods e.g. contingency, search, advertising, job boards, websites etc
•Routinely involved in problem solving e.g. analysis and interpreting data and challenge assumptions where required
•Understand the impact individual hires have on the business and work to reduce coast per hire and time to hire
Candidate skills required
Essential requirements:
•Research experience – successful track record in mapping organisations internal structures and identifying key personnel.
•Be comfortable with, and demonstrate, a strong track record of headhunting & networking for candidates.
•Excellent relationship management and communication skills
•The ability to manage your own workload
•Excellent organisation skills demonstrating the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
•A proactive, diplomatic, assertive and flexible nature
•Passion for your work with the desire and motivation to succeed in a hardworking environment
Desirable Skills and abilities:
•CIPD qualified
•Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
•Good presentation skills
•Strong time management skills and ability to work to deadlines and prioritise work accordingly
•Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision
•Well developed IT skills
•Able to analyse and problem solve from complex information and make an informed decision
•Good organisational skills
