Job Description

Mechanical & Electrical Manager. To work on a major brownfield re-development site in west London. An immediate requirement to join this developer working on this high profile scheme for one on the UK’s foremost developers.

The Project. This is a major mixed use re-generation project that will see the construction of a luxury hotel, an aparthotel, over 500 residential units for private and affordable housing, retail and commercial units, fitness centre, restaurant and bars. The entire complex will be set within landscaped gardens and squares. Travel links by rail to central London and the UK rail network are nearby as well as being convenient for Heathrow airport.

The Role. You must have experience in working on M&E sub contracts for hotels or substantial private residential or housing association schemes. Of major importance is the knowledge gained from working on a centrally based central heating system whereby all areas of the development have their requirements fulfilled from one central source. Your experience will have come from co-ordinating activities of subcontractors and / or direct labour force on a large scale scheme.

Background. Experience in the M&E aspects of the construction industry is essential as is evidence of working with and relevant qualifications to do with gas central heating. Additionally current CSCS certification and proof of an up to date knowledge of relevant legislation. You will need to have good oral and written communication skills and be prepared to work a 6 day week on construction hours. You must be legally entitled to live and work in the UK to be considered for the post.

Salary. A package that includes a good basic of £45 to £50,000 plus the usual benefits associated with a PAYE post for a reputable employer is on offer.
