Project Director – London – Main Contractor

One of the worlds leading project management and construction services companies are looking for a Project Director for one of their more prestigious projects in London.

The project director is required for a £185 million high-rise residential building near Islington, north London. The project has 134 units of 2-3 bedrooms in a six storey high building. The project also has retail units on the ground level.

The main responsibilities will be to ensure there is a strong client focus and that good working relations are maintained in order to ensure full satisfaction with project delivery. You will also be needed to ensure the contractor\'s design and delivery risk/opportunities are managed to ensure overall commercial profitability is maximised.

The successful project director will be working within the Accommodations department for this main contractor. All future projects will be with in the South East of England, mainly within London with a lot of large projects in Stratford, East London. Project values will range from £20 million to £250 million and will be based on both traditional and design and build forms of contract.

The ideal Project Director will have experience of working for a main contractor with in the UK, have experience running high-rise residential projects which very in value.

This main contractor also has opportunities for other roles (varied experience required) on both the production and commercial sides (surveyors, commercial managers, estimators, engineers, construction managers, project managers ect).
