As a result of a long term contract to manufacture new fleets, maintain existing fleets of Rolling Stock and delivery of ⅔ rd’s London Underground Resignalling scheme, they require a Project Engineering Manager.

You will report directly to the Project Director, managing the engineering scope on major projects to ensure optimum delivery. Ensuring the effective integration of the signalling and rolling stock into the total system, manage engineering change and variation process, manage the technical interfaces between subcontractor and client and manage the identification of risk and opportunities.

Candidates applying must have experience of projecting engineering major rolling stock and or signalling systems with the practical understanding of the system integration issues. Experience of managing an engineering team in the project execution phase is essential. You will be educated to degree level in an engineering discipline.
