Job Description

Ideally they are looking for people from a civil engineering background (degree qualified) with previous detailed design experience on UK Wastewater projects. Familiarity with Thames Water would be highly advantageous.

Along with the design element you will need to be a clear and confident communicator, as you will need to liaise with Thames Water Operations.

You will be responsible for planning no-dig or open-cut solutions, obtaining and collating STATS information, supervision of CAD draughts people, preparation of specifications, planning and arranging WIA and road opening notices to be served, preparation of health and safety plans and risk assessments. You will also have some experience in tunneling and no-dig technologies.

There are good rates on offer for the right candidate and this contract looks to be ongoing for some time. This role is not with your traditional consultancy, our client is small and niche and they want people who can push work through. Being small is certainly an advantage for this company.
