Project Manager – Residential RC Frames. Permanent or a Contract position to suit your status. The contractor is a very successful and go-ahead company with a sound financial background, and an enviable growth record with a strong knowledge of the construction industry. Established over 25 years ago they have always taken on staff if they are prepared to “work hard and play hard, for excellent rewards and long term career growth”.

The current requirement is for a Project Manager – Residential RC Frames, with a good technical knowledge of RC frames and their construction methods, using a post tensioned mode, able to ensure that the client’s exacting standards are met. This is a £20m+ project over 2 years, so you must be able to demonstrate a traceable employment and work history. This is a new scheme so there is plenty of opportunity for either a long contract role or a permanent position.

The Project is a £ multi million project providing residential units and asssociated support buildings, with an area of commercial / retail adjoining the main site, to be constructed over the next 24 months.

Your Background - Ideally you will have a Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, with a strong engineering background and wish to put your technical knowledge to good use. This is a role that requires strong man management skills, the ability to produce high quality finishes, GRP moulds are in use for as struck finishes, diplomatic and negotiating skills to work with the demanding client and a sense of humour.

Heading up a professional team - Programming, Method statements, client and sub-contractor meetings, technical resolutions to ensure a high standard of Health & Safety compliance, these are the aspects that will fill your working day.
