Job Description

As the Assistant Quantity Surveyor you will be shadowing the Senior Quantity Surveyor, assisting mainly in the commercial management of the project and to administer; measure and value elements of the project.

You will be responsible for:

• Assisting in achieving the appropriate commercial result
• Supporting the use of systems to provide the information necessary to manage the contract

You will:

• Be working in a team of surveyors and project managers and therefore have the ability to work as part of a team or independently
• Have excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Experience/Knowledge

• You will have at least 2 years’ Quantity Surveying experience
• Experience within highways would be advantageous
• Some knowledge of site commercial processes
• Local market knowledge

Salary / Benefits

• £16,000 to £25,000 salary
• Group 3 Car (£4,100)
• Pension after 3 months
• Bonus (10%)
