Job Description

As Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for the preparation of commercial information for the site team necessary to achieve commercial success and implement the appropriate tasks stemming from this.

You will be responsible for:

• Contributing to achieving the appropriate commercial result
• Operating the systems that are in place to provide the information necessary to manage the contract
• Securing full entitlements under the contract
• Providing support to the site team on contract requirements

You will:

• Be working in a team of surveyors and project managers and therefore should be confident to work autonomously, having the experience to work freely within the office or on-site
• Have excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Experience/Knowledge

• A degree in Quantity surveying BSc is needed or an equivalent together with at least 5 years’ experience of the Civils or Infrastructure market
• Used to working on own initiative with knowledge of the procurement of sub contractors and the monthly measurement cycle associated with this
• Knowledge of method of measurement for Highways works an advantage
• Local market knowledge

• £26,000 - £39,000
• Group 4 Car (£4,600)
