The Client is a very well established blue chip main contractor, who as a group turnover £2.2billion per annum. They are one of the top UK main contractors and their civil engineering division is a major player in the market at the moment. The Client is seeking a talented Section Engineer to run a portion of the works on a major site. Duties will include programming of the works, weekly and monthly meetings, QA and procurement. The role involves overseeing all engineers and sub-contractors and monitoring setting out, ground works and ordering of materials. Candidates will be ideally from a general Civil Engineering background.

The project they are looking for someone to go into is a prestigious £400million civils works on the biggest train line currently being undertaken in London. Divided between rail, civils and structures, this is a joint venture with another major contractor. Works include the new build and refurbishment of stations, remediation, demolition and reinforcing current structures.

The successful candidate must be from a Civil Engineering background and ideally have HNC Civil Engineering or equivalent.

Remuneration consists of up to £32k basic salary plus excellent package.
