Project Engineer – RC Frames, Hackney. New project, great opportunity for an experienced Engineer to move into a Project Engineer’s role with Project Management potential to look forward to.

Successful contractor, working mainly in London and the south-east on schemes from £3 to £40 million, has won another contract that will see their annual turnover exceed £150m for the next year. This £12m new build RC frame is over a period of 11 months and will start once the ongoing demolition is complete.

The Requirement is for a Civil Engineer trained Project Engineer to work closely with the Project Manager. Ideally qualified to Degree level in Civil Engineering or with a similar background and sound practical site experience you will be fully conversant with current RC frame construction, slip forms and post tensioning. Able to write Method statements, fully IT literate and used to dealing with electronic drawing issue, coming from a practical background you will have set out on site and be aware of the skills needed in the setting out Engineers you will supervise.

The Project is a complex of RC frames from 4 to 7 storeys with mixed residential in affordable and private housing over commercial and retail premises. External landscaping and leisure facilities will be provided.
