Supported by 7 Consultant Cardiologists, the Centre currently has 3 state of the art Catheter Labs (Lab 4 in construction) and a dedicated Pacing Theatre. Over 500 new pacemakers are implanted annually through the Pacing service, making it one of the biggest Pacing centres in the UK. The Echocardiography service (TTE/TOE/3D) is fully digital with net access.They are looking for an experienced and highly motivated individual to lead, manage and develop the Cardiac Physiology Technical service, comprising of over 40 members of staff, including technical, administrative and portering. The successful candidate will need to ensure that an efficient and co-ordinated service is delivered.

You will need a BSc Clinical Physiology (Cardiology) or equivalent and a management qualification is desirable. As an experienced Cardiac Physiologist, you will have an expert knowledge in some, but not necessarily all of our sub-speciality areas.
