Site Engineer for Groundworks & Temporary works. 2 new jobs require competent Freelance Engineers for considerable periods, based on site at Wimbledon and in the City.

Experience in the Groundworks and Temporary works fields would be advantageous as you will then immediately be able to understand the complexity and sequencing of the works. These are additional positions and you will be supplementing the Contractor’s own Engineers.

With a turnover exceeding £120m, operating from offices within the M25, and covering a geographical area that includes London and the Home counties, this extremely successful Contractor covers the full range of work from site investigations and ground remediation, demolition, civil engineering and groundworks to reinforced concrete structures. This necessitates using considerable quantities of Temporary works during the construction phases.

Experienced Engineers with a minimum of 3 years relevant UK experience in Groundworks and Infrastructure, familiar with the latest surveying equipment would suit the roles. You will need to be a good communicator, able to read drawings and explain the information in layman’s terms to the site workforce, good record keeping skills and a strong Technical Engineering ability.

The civil engineering division of the company has worked on and is currently working on some of the most high profile mixed use sites in the South East. The business specialises in commercial & infrastructure works and groundworks. Typical contract values range from £0.5m to £15m.
