Job Description
An east London Council wants to recruit a Town Planner to join their Regeneration and Planning Implementation Team.
This role will require a confident planner to work on the preparation of site guidance and briefs, feeding into the areas specific plans, also coordinating planning input into the Council's initiatives, strategies and plans, such as the Council's Housing Estate renewal Programme.
You will also be advising the Council Departments on planning policy, procedure and planning application process and to manage consultants to implement survey work or site development guidance.
Candidates from a development control or policy implementation background may apply, you will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of both disciplines and the planning process in general. UK experience is preferable but not essential.
