Job Description

Youth Offending Qualified Social Worker required to work in Central London. The role will involve working in the Youth Offending Service, directly with people who have been recently released. Duties will involve conducting risk assessments and dealing with public protection issues. Suitable candidates will have experience of working directly with young people and supervising them. Also you will be expected to prepare reports and represent the Service at meetings with other agencies. Candidates who are taken on will need to be team players who are able to communicate effectively as you will be interviewing young people and their carers where appropriate. Also you will respond to telephone enquiries and communicate with various external agencies where appropriate.

The Position is to start ASAP and is for 5 months initially. You must be eligible to work in the UK, hold a Social Work Qualification, GSCC registered with a current CRB, driver preferred.
