The client is a Local Authority in North West London, and their busy Property Services team require an experienced Quantity Surveyor to help deal with an increase in workload.

MRICS or MCIOB qualified, the successful applicant will be working with the minimum of supervision to provide full quantity surveying services. Responsible for provision of full tender documentation and quantity surveying services on projects up to approximately £500k. The surveyor will be carrying out measurement surveys and valuations, and will also be responsible for feasibility estimates, cost planning/control, procurement advice on projects of up to approximately £24million.

The ideal applicant will have at least 5 years post qualification experience, or show other evidence of their competency to work at this level, they will also have experience of working and understanding computer systems. Good oral and written communication skills are essential as is the ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines. Our client is looking for someone who is capable of working with the minimum of supervision and who is prepared to work flexibly and beyond normal working hours when circumstances demand. Applicants must have full clean driving license.
