Job Description

A construction company is looking for an Architect (RIBA Part II or above) to work in house with the design team in a design management and co-ordination role on a hotel project.

Construction has begun on this contemporary fifteen storey hotel with over nine hundred luxury rooms and apartments, two restaurants, gymnasium and pool combined with one of London’s largest conference venues. Located in Central London, the development overlooks Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and the River Thames.

The hotel incorporates an eco friendly approach including an on site water bottling ‘factory’, triple glazed, energy retaining cladding and a biomass electricity generator to allow the hotel to fulfil and produce 15% of its own energy needs. The build cost for this project is over one hundred million pounds.

The Successful candidate will have construction experience and be able to work autonomously though closely with the in house Design Team and internationally based Consultants. You will be Enthusiastic, creative and forward thinking as well as having strong CAD skills. Experience of working on luxury suites, hotel design and public space is a bonus.
