Job Description
Doe not want newly qualified
in-patient service for Older People.
This is a Physical OT position and serves elderly patients, with complex social and medical conditions resettling them back into the community.
It is called a Community Beds Service and has 36 beds across two wards. It is based at Brighton General Hospital, Elm Grove, Brighton, BN2 3EW.
The hours are 08.30 - 16.30 Monday to Friday 37.5 hrs. This will run for a minimum of 8 weeks probably longer if recruitment is not achieved/funding for a permanent post not found.
They will share an office with two other qualified OT’s and one OTA at Brighton General up until end December and then in the New Year(if this is to continue) the locum post will go with the service to Newhaven, which is along the coast from Brighton by about 10 miles.
They are part of a small MDT which has Physio, SW and RMN alongside nursing.
NO accommodation.
