Restaurant Description
Thames-side brasserie-style restaurant with superb views of Tower Bridge and the boating traffic of the river. An understandably popular spot, the restaurant can get very busy, though service is good and the rush is handled pretty well. Cooking is simple and skilful and seafood is a specialty of the seasonal menu. There is a separate vegetarian menu and dishes of roast lamb, or venison casserole with juniper and glazed parsnips. There is a wine list of over 300 wines as well as an extensive cellar in liquors.

Job Requirements
• Advanced English
• Excellent customer care and presentation.
• Some knowledge in traditional French Cuisine
• Waiting Experience of AT LEAST 1.5 years as a Waiter within a fine dining establishment.
OR
• Hotel & Catering diploma with at least 9 months working experience in a quality establishment as a waiter or a Demi Chef de Rang.

YOU MUST ALSO HAVE A WORK PERMIT THAT IS VALID FOR AT LEAST ONE YEAR AND ENABLES YOU TO WORK FULL TIME THROUGH OUT.

Job Description
• It is around 40 to 49 hours per week. You are paid per hour at the end of each month into your English bank account. If you do not have one the personnel department will help you open one.
• You will work seven shifts per week in five days. Hours are depending on your manager.
• After three months you are intituled to 20 days holiday (with two days off a week, this equals one month holiday) as well as statutory sick pay after three days.
• You will also be given training in all areas of a fine dining restaurant from customer service training programmes to food tasting.

You will be required to:
• Set the restaurant and or the conference rooms prior to the start of the shift
• Taking orders and serving the plates to the tables
• Making suggestions to the customers concerning the daily specials
• Handle payments of cash, credit cards and cheques
• Any other duties that your manager sees fit
