Job Description

An Experienced Cost Planner / Rail Estimator or Quantity Surveyor is required to focus on the preparation and delivery of estimates and cost plans for Signalling and Telecommunication projects.

It is essential that the individual has a diverse and varied background in either Electrical, Signalling or telecomunication work types. Knowledge of the railway industry advantageous but not essential. Knowledge of the ERTMS programme is advantageous but similarly not essential.

The Estimator will be required to take a strategic role in managing and delivering estimates and cost plans for a diverse portfolio of railway signalling projects. It is likely that there will be some involvement on major projects. The individual must have a good cost knowledge to enable us to benchmark projects and look to achieve efficiencies in our portfolio of projects.
