Job Description

Chef de Rang required for a 5* Luxury Hotel with an award winning restaurant located in Berkshire. Must have a minimum of 2 years previous relevant experience in a 4* or 5* environment, preferably at Michelin level. The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth running of a station, either at breakfast, lunch, dinner, private dining or room service and to ensure a high level of service is maintained. Responsibilities are: 1. To be able to set the restaurant to the standard required. 2. To gain knowledge of all the food products sold in the Hotel. 3. To be able to run the station to the standard required. 4. To be responsible for the Commis assigned to their station. 5. To be able to manage a private dining room for a particular service. All candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK
Salary £13,600 per annum.
Commis Chef required for 5* Luxury Hotel and award winning rosette restaurant located in Berkshire. Must have previous experience and be able to work in all sections of the Kitchen. Duties will be 1. To create an environment which promotes employee morale and encourages a team to have pride in their working environment to a high level of commitment. 2. To assist in the control of all the operating costs within all the food outlets to the agreed budgets. 3. Have a flexible response to business and client needs and to give full co-operation to a colleague requiring assistance in a prompt, caring and helpful manner. 4. To take part in any daily briefings and attend any hotel meeting when required 5. To comply with the statutory requirements for fire, health and safety, licensing and employment law and to ensure that other team members are also aware of these requirements and are working in accordance to them. 6. Carry out any reasonable request set out by the Executive Head Chef, Head Chef, Sous Chef and Chef de Partie. 7. To adhere to all regulations set out by the Hotel and kitchen manual.

Salary £9568 - £11481 per annum
