Friendly Islington practice is looking for an Architect to work on high-spec residential projects in UK. There are a number of jobs available including two new build private residences in Essex, one going to scheme design stage and one going into working drawings stage (value £2M approx). The other is a reconstruction and extension to a three storey office block in Camden going into working drawings (value £800K approx), plus several projects at early scheme design.

This is a fantastic opportunity to get some hands on experience. Good knowledge of UK building regulations is essential for this role and confidence in communicating with other consultants including engineers and contractors. This is a long term contract role which could lead to a permanent position for the right candidate. Alternatively it would suit an Architect who already undertakes private work and is wanting 4 days a week (3 might also be considered).
