Job Description
To contribute to the successful achievement of objectives as set out in Team Business Plans, the Council’s Corporate Objectives, the Community Plan and the Best Value Performance Plan.
To make a significant contribution to the provision of efficient and effective Development Control services for the Council’s customers in accordance with established procedural and legislative requirements and to specified timescales and standards.
Applicants should have:
• Extensive post qualification experience in Development Control
• Preparing and implementing action/management plans
• Managing people effectively
• Knowledge of legislation and current issues affecting the management of Development Control
• Sound knowledge of the assigned services
