Job Description

To project manage and develop a number of high profile urban design and conservation projects withing this local authority including: -
• Site Development Framework and;
• English Heritage grant-aided heritage regeneration schemes

The role will involve assisting and leading in all aspects of client side responsibilities, including:
•Selecting, appointing and managing the various consultants to ensure projects meet quality targets, are on time and within budget.
•Liaison and joint working, both within the Council’s services and externally with the appointed consultancies and other agencies
•Commenting on consultant’s draft reports, specifications and development frameworks
•Reporting to project steering groups
•Coordinating consultation, both internally and with external consultation bodies
•Administering individual grant applications and processes.
•Preparing reports and project briefs
