Job Description

We are looking to recruit, for an immediate start, an additional architect for our small multi-discipline practice based in East Finchley. The candidate will have the opportunity to work on a number of national projects including retail design for the UK's largest sports/ fashion retailer.

The successful candidate will have:

· RIBA part II or III qualifications
· A good knowledge of building construction and practice
· Fully competent with AutoCAD and visualisation tools such as Viz and Photoshop
· A good design ability;
· Working knowledge of town planning act.
· A working knowledge of JCT Contracts

The role will involve:

· Dealing with projects from concept to completion
· Hold site meetings, dealing with variations to ensure the design is compatible with the site etc.

· good knowledge of the Town and County Planning Act; an ability to work as part of a team and with minimum supervision; an ability to draft reports and letters in a professional manner; a self-motivated attitude; a full driving licence; and a genuine interest in Architecture.
