Job Description

Homecare Manager required for a South London borough immediately. The position is to assist the Promoting Independence Manager to manage Home Care Services ensuring the effective delivery of a high quality, cost effective home care service to vulnerable people in the community between the hours of 7.30 a.m. - 10.30 p.m. seven days per week. This includes Mainstream Home care, Hospital Discharge Team, Crises Care Team and extra care supported housing contract 24 hours a day.

You will primarily manage the Mainstream Homecare Team, and extra care supported housing ensuring the service meets the requirements of Commissioners, Service Users and Carers within Council and Departmental policies, procedures and current legislation specifically National Care Standards. To work alongside and cover for the Home Care Manager for the hospital discharge team.

The Position is to start ASAP and is ongoing. You must be eligible to work in the UK, have a current CRB, driver preferred.
