Job Description

A large Main Contractor requires a Site Engineer to work in Auckland New Zealand on a multi million dollar Road project.

This position will be reporting to the Senior Project Engineer and the Project Manager and will be required to lead, plan, organise and control the technical aspects of Project/s including the development, implementation and control of project plans.

Successful candidates will also be required to

* Ensure compliance with all HS&E policies and procedures

* Read and understand sub-contract and specifications to accurately relay them to the team

* Write contract notices for review by the Project Engineer

* Identify errors, omissions in drawings and submitting for review to the Project Engineer

* Co-ordinate and monitor work of the construction team, labourers, plant and subcontractors

* Measure, record and report on progress against program in allocated work packages and advise the Project Engineer of discrepancies

Requirements:

* A Bachelor degree in Engineering or Building

* 1 years of relevant Construction experience

* Excellent communication skills
