An experienced Senior Technician is required to provide a range of traffic and highway skills as well as manage a small team of technicians, you will be part of UK...#039;s largest and most diverse multidisciplinary consultancies operating in the building design, civil engineering, environment, management and transport sectors.

Job Description

You will be working on a wide range of transport related projects, providing assistance to project managers and directors in preparation of scheme drawings, report figures, and providing technical assistance in the assessment of service areas using Autotrack.

Projects range from: Junction improvement schemes, traffic management projects, bus relocation schemes, stopping up plans, public rights of way drawing car park layouts on a range of development schemes.

Requirements

Your areas of experience will include:
Car park design
Service area analysis using autotrack
Junction and site access design
Management of CAD drafting resources -manage a small team of technicians.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for derivation and management of drafting standards for drawing production and filing.

The Individual

The successful candidate will be an experienced draught person who is proficiently experienced in all forms of drafting and graphics including AUTOCAD and also experienced in the use of the swept path analysis program autotrack.
