Job Description

Our client, an old 14th century Coaching Inn in the Cotswolds is looking for a Senior Assistant Manager to assist the managers in running the hotel and to take the helm in their absence. The 3* hotel has 24 en-suite bedrooms and the restaurant seats 50 people. There is always a choice of Real Ales and a delightful selection of individual bar snacks. The Restaurant makes dining a pleasure as the resident chef designs his menus to tempt all palates and the superb cellar holds a fine range of classic and New World wines to compliment your meal. All of the rooms are different in style and size, with features such as fireplaces and four poster beds. The hotel is run by a team of 16 people and the successful candidate will need to be very practical with a “hands on” approach. With a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, he/she will have excellent people skills and will have the ability to motivate all members of staff. He/she will be able to promote a genuinely warm and comfortable welcome with a modern approach to service and standards. All applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

Salary £19K - £25K + bonus dependant on experience.
