Job Description

They currently require the skills of a Deputy Project / Construction Manager to oversee the £18 m re-development of Office Block in London.

Reporting directly to a Senior Project Manager you will use your broad knowledge of construction to oversee the development. Taking it from the ground up into fit-out and finishing stage.
The scope of works includes heavy foundations, steelwork, cladding and high spec finishes. You will be responsible for co-coordinating and planning when subcontractors arrive on site and areas they work in, drive health & safety, tackle technical problems on site and quality control. You will have 2 Site Managers and 1 site engineer working underneath you.

Role details:
- Liaise with Architects and to ensure works are done according to the design and handle design related issues.
- Arrange the sequence of events and ensure works are completed according to plan.
- Ensure works on site are compliant with Health and Safety regulations and meet Quality Control standards.
- Liaise with Consultant and Structural engineers to ensure correct construction.

Specific Experience Required:
To be considered for this role you must have previous construction experience as a number one on site’s of a value of £10m or above.
Candidates with Commercial Development, Leisure Centre or large Structural Build experience will be held in high regard.
