Award winning main contractor seeks commercial trainee to mould into quantity surveyor!!!!!!!!!!!!! this opportunity is not to be missed!!!!

Main Duties
· Familiarise contract documentation to ensure a working knowledge.
· Ensure the business interests are maintained as required with notification of all matters relating to contract.
· Ensure timely and accurate payments of subcontractors with supporting documentation.
· Attend, note and chase actions from monthly site meetings.
· Preparation of Sub Contract tender enquiries.
· Provide active cost control advice, reporting and explaining any cost movement.
· Liaise and build relationships to ensure effective communications with all departments.
· Ensure timely applications for payment in accordance with contract including monitoring receipt.
· Cross check monthly cost reports to ensure accuracy and correct allocations of costs.

Person Specification
First class analytical skills, good communication skills.Highly numerate with flair for figures.Computer literate.
ExperienceMinimum of 2 years contracting experience, Social Housing/Contracting background is desirable.
Training / Education Working towards HNC / Degree or equivalent.

Additional Duties
The nature of operations is such that on occasions all employees are expected to undertake short term assignments, appropriate to their abilities to support the company. For example, support other departments in times of heavy workload or shortage of labour due to absence.

Package
18,000 upwards, qualifications paid for, bonus, car allowance.
