Job Description

Our major client is seeking structural engineers for work on various projects. Current projects include high rise buildings, long span buildings, residential, commercial, education and sports stadia such as the Arsenal Football Club Stadium and Ascot Race Course, as well as other international projects.

Some of the Key Responsibilities will include:

Undertake detailed engineering design.

• Prepare technical schedules.
  
• Plan and manage CAD documentation of design work.
  
• Work closely with and monitor performance of Technician (as appropriate).
  
• Under guidance of senior staff, represent BH at meetings with the client, other professionals and suppliers.

Personal Requirements

Applicants should have a Bachelors degree (BEng) in Engineering plus a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience. Or have a Masters degree (MEng) in Engineering plus a minimum of 2 years work experience.
Good IT Skills are also necessary, as well as good communication skills, experience in dealing with other employees and external clients. Applicants should also be proactive with the confidence to lead in challenging situations.

Salary and Benefits

Salary is £20-£26k p/a depending on experience. Benefits package including Profit Related Pay, 3 x Life Insurance, BUPA private health care, contributory Pension Scheme, 20 days leave (plus additional leave purchase scheme).
