Job Description
Purpose: Delivery of the specialist psychology service, providing neuropsychological assessment and treatment programmes for the patients with acquired brain injury and neurological disorders, both individual and group. To actively participate in the clinical supervision of Psychology staff and training of the wider multidisciplinary team including induction
Key Accountability's:
Provide comprehensive neuropsychological assessment of patients to assist the multidisciplinary team (MDT) in diagnosis, problem formulation and the planning of rehabilitation programmes
Design & implementation of individual behaviour modification programmes
Assist the Consultant in Management of the clinical psychology department

Assist in the development of the Centre
Function as a key worker to ensure active co-ordination and management of the therapeutic programme to achieve the agreed rehabilitation goals
Provide evidence based neuropsychology treatments e.g. cognitive and behavioural
Attend and participate in all relevant meetings e.g. Clinical team meetings, clinical governance and case reviews.
Maintain records and clinical notes in line with company policy and British Psychological Society (BPS) guidelines
Provide all relevant reports as required, accurately and in a timely fashion e.g. case review reports, management reports & discharge reports
