Job Description

Our Client is an International Consultancy with offices in over 80 countries. They require an experienced Project and Design Manager in their central London office where they employ around 350 people across a wide range of disciplines: Ecology, Structures, Infrastructure, Building Services, Sustainability and Planning.

Their multi-disciplinary projects include: East London Line, Guildford Civic Centre, Gerrards Cross, Tottenham Court Road Station Upgrade.

Their approach to delivering projects is to look for the best solution rather than simply a standard answer and so, with the diverse nature of work they undertake the successful candidate will need to apply their skills, with flair and imagination across a wide variety of projects. As the project manager, your core role will be management of the programme and commercial elements of the projects - ensuring that projects are delivered on time and are profitable. Initially, you will be leading internal design teams, but there is the potential for your role to develop into the day to day management of a project management team and expansion of project management opportunities with their London clients.

You must be able to demonstrate significant project management experience in delivering multi-disciplinary projects in the UK, ideally within the property sector and display a strong commercial capability. You must be educated to university degree level and ideally be a member of a professional body such as the APM. You will also be fully conversant with MS Office and Project.
